Majora's Mask is the only console Zelda I haven't played. I have it on the Wii VC just need to start it. I remember trying to play it as a kid but kept getting screwed with the third day ending.

This was my problem. I found that the game wasn't very straight forward, and inevitably gave up on it. Basically I got tired of constantly repeating quests that were not complete after 3 days....

I liken MM to the card game Mao where it is against the rules to explain the rules. You just have to figure it out by trial and error.

I never beat it either. I was too busy playing FFVIII and FFIX in 2000.

It was one of the few N64 games I kept complete in box from my childhood though since it had a cool arse hologram cart.

Not really, if I remember right. There are some masks that require precise timing over all three days, i.e. the couple's mask (hardest one, IMO).

That's the one I meant.

Easily the most involved sub quest in all Zelda games.

I used a guide last night to collect all of the Zora Eggs. The guide kept telling me to use the stone mask, and it wasn't until later that I realized how easy it is to get. However, it seems that the guard was in a very random spot for using the lens of truth. However, I admit it has been quite a while since I played the earlier parts of the game.

It's hard to find, but literally anything in Majora's Mask that looks remotely out of place means there's almost certainly something there.
