How often do you (re)play old games? Which ones?

In another thread I saw the OP say he would be selling his PS3 after playing through "The Last of Us."
That left me wondering how many people play through old games either for the first time or for a second (or more) play through because you enjoyed it so much your first experience? If so, which games?
(And by "old" I mean anything not released in the last year or so.)

I play retro video games almost exclusively.

If old is more than a year then outside of the latest fps I play almost solely old games.
Recently played and finished, all for the first time
Dark souls
Deus ex
Bioshock 1
Mass effect about two years ago
Playing skyrim, dragons dogma, mass effect 2, gta 4 an hitman blood money. Just kind of rotating between those depending on my mood
I'm starting state of decay so that's about the only new game I will have played in forever.
New games are "new" for a month. The way I see it, even if its five years later, the game is new to me and I enjoy it as much as everyone else their first time playing.
Mass effect and bioshock were great even 6-7 years later

I go back and play the great retro games I havent played and the amazing ones I love.
I typically wait atleast a year before buying new games that come out because the price drops are so huge. unless i get a good sale or used
my only exception was bioshock infinite because of the hype

I played Ocarina of Time at least 5 times all the way through.
I typically always keep my games (unless I get them on another console for cheap). I never know when I'm gonna suddenly wanna play a game. Just the other day I felt like playing Red Dead for the first time in years.

Gta3, vice city, and kotor. Those are the most recent I play over and over.

I really don't play old games as much as I should and this is a detriment to me because sometimes a game gets shelved for whatever reason and it may never be played again after awhile.
I don't know why I do this but I do ... I guess getting older and having less time to game makes me focus on the ones I play with friends or can jump in & out of them quickly.
Right now I'm holding on Deus Ex, Dark Souls, Call of Juarez: Gunslinger, Far Cry 3: Bloodragon, Dante's Inferno, hell I didn't even get a chance to beat MW3 or BLOPS2 campaigns and I'm a stickler for doing that.

I still play Mass Effect 1,2, and 3, but if you really want to get "old", I usually play Zelda OoT, MM, and TP in alternating months. I also just popped in Star Fox 64 the other day. Looney Tunes BBall for the SNES occasionally gets some playing time as well.

Yeah, I don't really ascribe to the definition of "old" that I laid out. I was just trying to draw a distinction between people who only play the latest releases, and those who are willing (or forced) to play anything regardless of age.
I know of some people who only want to play a game if there is an active community for it and people are still talking about it. That's often the latest releases.
I'm usually 1 - 3 years behind on current generation games and that's for 2 main reasons: lack of time, and older games are way cheaper.
I return to a lot of random older games including:
Archon (Atari)
Super Mario World (SNES)
Monkey Island (PC)
Deus Ex (PC)
Half-Life 2 (PC)
Portal 1 & 2 (PC)
Braid (360)
...but I have a back log of lots of other games I bought and haven't played through yet.
Edit: (Oh, and it's really interesting to me to hear what games other people return to, like Looney Tunes BBall for example. That's one I've never tried but now I feel like I should.)

I only jump on new releases if I am really interested like I may do for watch dogs or last of us. Usually I just wait. This past year I have been playing arkham asylum, metro 2033, infamous, gta 4, crysis 1, ac:brotherhood all for the first time.

Every couple of years I replay Earthbound and Chrono Trigger.

The oldest was probably Morrowind several years after it came out.
I don't replay many games. I guess I used to break out Age of Empires and Diablo II. I played a game similar to Age of Empires for years after it came out but the name eludes me.
I could see myself playing Fallout 3 one more time if they don't break out Fallout 4.

I definitely play more old games. Lately I've played through Chrono Trigger and Chrono Cross. I'm picking my way (slowly) through FFIX at the moment. There just aren't a lot of new games that really excite me anymore.

A LOT of Doom 2 and Final Doom.

I've been playing Capitalism 2 recently. I mostly play older games for fun or low budget Russian games for giggles.

bought that a couple of weeks ago and been playing it with some graphics mods. Ahhhh, how it takes me back to a simpler time.
