I posted in the other thread but 16 should be fine. As long as he's not putting a shite ton of music and a couple movies on it also 16 will be good. 32 maybe but def not 64

I've finally reached the capacity of 16 GB on my first gen iPod Touch. It took me a while to get there and unless your kid pirates all the music he can get his hands on, it should be fine.
