Saw a better explanation today.
Fortnite is made by Epic, creator of Unreal engine.
Bluehole pays a crap ton of royalties to Epic and has worked closely with Epic to help them develop and improve the Unreal engine to support 100 players.
Now Epic comes out with a direct competitor and could possibly hold back new engine features/improvements from Blueholes competing product and really has every reason to.
Also, Epic openly referenced/used the PUBG name to promote their new mode. Apparently some players thought this meant that Bluehole was involved/supported the new mode.
That is why Bluehole is upset.

I cant wait to highlight Bruce and I jumping out of a UAZ for combat only for him to inform me he has no ammo so I ran him over trying to get away

same, think I got you to do it one time for me bc its blocked. Just some random bug fixes with shadows and synced spectator mode, not much else.

Not that I'm aware of, I don't think its that big of a deal. Its been a bitch for them to fix I guess.

Lot of DayZ .63 hype lately, Dev team still mum on any type of release date, but I wonder if they are building it up to release it soon. May be the only thing to tear me away from this game.

What teeny tiny circle are you hanging out in that you are hearing any kind of hype around DayZ?
Even if they release .63 and there is a big surge of people going back to DayZ (LOL)... it will quickly dwindle back down to what it is now.
Why can't the world just let DayZ die already? It will NEVER be as great as it was when the mod was first released.

Server hopping for hours to loot up and get into position to ambush people doesn't really sound like fun to me.
