orry, I mean this gen. I would assume it is much higher than 20-50.

The Denahm Springs Gamestop told me their cap was 33 for Playstation 4 and about 35 for the Xbox One. He then ended it with "In that ballpark" and I told him, "there is the fine print right there"

I am not sure they were actually supposed to tell me that or if they were just being nice since I go in there a lot.

Once he told men, I laid my story on him and while I didn't want to come off as though I was telling him what to do, if you can do something to prevent your company from putting you in that situation, by all means I suggest you do it.

we didn't have the money to refund them

So if they paid with a card, you couldn't do a refund ?

Merchant agreements won't let you refund to a card after a certain period of time.

At least mine was that way for my gas station.

These were the exception, and even these needed to meet certain requirements.

although there were not many people that fully paid with a card, some people it was a combination between card/store credit/cash.

Surprisingly a large number of card payers didn't want the refund, as long as they got the machine before Christmas, they were fine. It was the cash/store credit folks that wanted it now acting like certified paralegals. It was a very delicate situation and I feel like Gamestop did absolutely nothing to prepare its stores for it.

I can wait 5-7 days... by that time the market will be much better.

I've done it with every major system and it always works... You just have to know when and where to go.

I didn't even consider Gamestop for my PS4 preordered. They're always a mess.

I preordered through them with next day air shipping night of E3. They're still taking preorders in store just sold out online.

I'm not waiting in line for shite, I'll wait for it to be delivered the next day and they had the BF4 bundle up for preorder days before Amazon so went with them.

Amazon isn't taking launch day orders for the standard PS4 anymore

Yeah, they sold out of those within 12 hours, top selling console of the year on Amazon.

Wow... So knowing that there was no pre-order limit for the store, I wonder how many pre-orders the average GS took.

Playstation and GS... your two favorite things.

And all I'm saying is that I'm set up for an XB1 Day One Edition.
If I don't get it the day it comes out, I'll cancel my order and wait for a price drop before I purchase. I'm assuming I'll be able to do this as they don't charge you till they ship the item(per the time allotted for a refund on a card rule).
