Nearly 2k with no M.2, gross
I guess I still have this pipedream of eventually getting a 3060ti or 3070fe at MSRP. Would get the total build to under $1400 or so

Well M.2 is just a form factor soooooo

You know you can build one with an m.2. I might come out to just over $2000 though.

Do yo have a good site that shows performance of each in order to justify when cost exceeds performance?
Posted on 6/14/21 at 10:01 pm to TigerTatorTots
nah, i don't think i do. best rule of thumb is this:
nvidia
3060 (worst)
3060Ti
3070
3070Ti
3080
3080Ti
3090 (best)
radeon
6700xt (worst)
6800
6800xt
6900xt (best)
"worst" doesn't necessarily mean it's bad. if you see a card you like, head over to YouTube and watch reviews from Gamers Nexus and JayzTwoCents. they run benchmarks of the most popular/gpu-demanding games and show you the FPS/temps/fan noise/etc. charts. i like Gamers Nexus mostly. he usually tells you if its worth the MSRP price for reference cards. AIB (aftermarket) will always be more expensive.
i see you in the crypto thread alot on the money board. are you looking for something to game with or mine with or both? i wouldn't go for anything less than a 3060Ti or 6800 if you plan on doing both.

you can probably build a PC with NZXT. they probably have GPUs on hand.
here's the same build i sent bamabenny but with a 1TB WD Sata SSD.
LINK
Estimated Ship Date 6/22.

keep in mind. that just the tower. you're gonna need a monitor (or 2), a mouse, keyboard, headset, etc.

quote:Yea, already have all of that. I currently use a XIM Apex on my Xbox to play COD so I'd just be utilizing those peripherals on the PC.

Is anyone here an elite member that can snag me a 3090 or 3080 ti
Posted on 6/15/21 at 10:33 am to TigerTatorTots
If you plan on mining dont get a 3080 TI. I can verify its nerfed

Yea I saw they were going to reduce the hash rate in new cards. I’m not clear on if it is all new cards or only new ones of certain models. Would it explicitly say on a product page before I buy if it is one of those LHR cards?

The 3090 is currently available for $2089
Posted on 6/15/21 at 1:40 pm to TigerTatorTots
I think its supposed to be all new cards except for 3090's?
Not sure if it will be labeled as such.
