im ab idiot and dont understand all of the game modes. how do i just take a team and play a season?

Therr are many different forms of "seasons" on fifa. Do you just want to do like a franchise in madden where you manage/play with a squad and get to make transfers and such or do you want to play online seasons, which is basically online play?

i just want to take Spurs, and start playing a season.. and have it continue after the season.. just like playing a season on Madden
i thought i did it last night, and it asked me to select a player.. i selected Dempsey.. selected to control the entire team though.. Dempsey got hurt in the first 5 minutes and the games stopped.. and it wouldnt let me until he returned from injury 3 months later
should i do it as a manager?

Yeah, if you do that, you'll control all the decisions with the team and can manage a national team at some point also. You'll just control the whole team in the games.

in my first year with cardiff city got us fighting for promotion
Brought in Jose Torres and Andy Najar before the season
and GROWN arse MAN in during the winter, tried to get Fabian Johnson and agreed to terms with his club but he was being a bitch
