I'm ready to do some co-op on PC.
Not expecting much from the story but good times with others are welcomed.

Yeah, pretty much. I don't know how much more can be done with zombie storylines but it's just a fun game in general, especially with some friends.

Survival games with post world environments and monsters chasing is just fun. Really soo much going on there, zombie games are always great.

Same here. I thought Bioshock would tide me over a few more days but it wasn't so. 1999 really wasn't that hard.

I have played through the game 2.5 times and am not going back for a while. I need Riptide to hold me over unitl Metro Last Light.

That hand cannon just made it too easy except for two parts. I'm still on the fence over Metro. I need to see what other games are coming out around that time.

Did you play 2033? If not then pick it up cheap and try it, if you like 2033 then Last Light is a no brainer, imo.

Yea, I bought it. It glitched at the end when that pack of those things came running through on you. I just remember not being overly impressed by it. It wasn't worth $60 for me.

watched a few DI:R interview videos today. seems pretty much like the same game and same storyline with added features like:
- MOAR guns and ammo from the beginning
- MOAR vehicles and boats that you can not only drive but friends can shoot zombies from mounted weapons.
- you can port over your character from DI
- one new character who apparently is a hand to hand combat expert.
- you can chose your area of expertise(melee, slice n dice, guns) at the beginning this time around. it's no longer locked by your character choice.
- character skin customizations
- supposedly not a new mode, but parts of the game where you can use setups, weapons, and traps to setup camp and hold off hoards of zombies.
- ability to pick a favorite type of weapon, gain experience with it, and improve aspects of that type. (i'm not sure how to explain)
i'm not expecting a whole new Dead Island and I'm glad they added aspects of the game that the fans suggested from Dead Island.
I just enjoy the story, the simple hack and slash, and playing with my xbox e-bff's.

That all sounds pretty good. I was really hoping they wouldn't tweak it too much.
