I used to play a ton of CS, from the first beta to source. Then I made the switch to BF3 and started playing that for a couple of years, completely ignoring CS. Then that atrocious BF4 came around and I said frick this, bought CS:GO. Still trying to recapture my early form and shake off the BF rust, but it's fun as shite.

I played CS from 1.3 to 1.6. Played competively..it was a great strategic fps game.

Same here. I tried to get into source but I just couldn't. Every now and then I'll hop back on 1.6 for nostalgia.
I played in cal-o a couple of times and our team was so bad. We never actually practiced and none of us were any good anyway. I can remember some late nights in undergrad -- procrastinating writing a program for class or whatever. Fun times.
