Drop shotting is like souls whoring its a skill that is used sometimes to give the player a tactical advantage. It is not used on every kill. Gnarls you must be talking bout headshotting noobs bc mlg players almost all use this tactic

If you know a tryhard is hardscoping a corner, you can jump dropshot around the corner and shoot the bk before he can adjust off his hardscope to shoot you

Dropshotters used to make me mad, but they really are easy headshots. I don't dropshoot because I personally probably can't pull it off. I've never used tactical, what is the difference in layout?

What I gather is that your crouch/prone action is R3 instead of melee. You can drop without taking your hand off the stick.
