Not a bad monitor, could have found something maybe $20 cheaper. It is just your basic 1080 60htz monitor, nothing special.

Gonna be used for strictly consoles which 60hz is all I need. Am i correct in this assumption? I hope I'm happy with it

I have a PS3 but really do not play console games.

Seems like playing consoles on monitors have been trending for awhile. I know it is an advantage in FPS games, any other reason for this?

Fps is all I play. And I am fairly successful. But I want every advantage I can get. My faming room is small no room for a large screen tv I have been playing on a 26 inch Vizio LCD 720p now I can use that tv to have sports on while I play. I figure with less input lag faster response time and upgrading to 1080 i will gain some sort of competitive advantage true?

I have 2 of these for my PC and they are super clean and look great, I'm sure it will be good for console gaming

I have it and like mine although I am not as discerning a user as some of these other guys.
