Tried my hand at the 247 sports March Madness Pick 'em. As opposed to regular brackets, they have you pick the winners of the round presently being played and have you organize those from most confident to least, you get more points for your more confident picks.
After the 1st round, I was at #40. After Saturday's games I was up to #3 overall. I don't wanna talk about how yesterday's games went
Not sure how many overall people signed up, but it was at least a few thousand.

I’m somehow still alive in our office pool and that only being because a large amount of brackets had UVA Arizona UNC and Michigan State winning.

I took Nova because of ties to their old coach
I took Loyola because I am old enough to know this was not their first dance.
After that is was mostly rooting for teams to beat teams I wanted to lose. Sadly both Kansas and Michigan are still in but the ACC is out so it was not a terrible trade off.

I can't say I won that one either. I had Miss State, ND, USC and L'ville with us winning it all.

I know I had State and Cocks in the Final Four in the pre season. Also thought Louisville would take theirs. I think I had Baylor making the Final Four but then they seeded them in Louisvilles bracket. Same with the Cocks getting stuck in Connecticuts bracket (UK got that crap 3 years running and it cost them a Final Four the year they had Adia).
When it came to where everybody landed I picked Irish over Uconn because Muffet has Gens's number. I picked State over Louisville but had State over the Irish in the Championship. I feel bad because I almost went to Columbus and I seem to be a lucky charm for teams that win.
I think the sport was the real winner
#1 Uconn did not win (and certainly did not rout in boring championship)
#2 Both semis went to OT
#3 Championship came down to a last second shot (tho Irish got away with late no cal)
#4 Good geographic dispersion to draw most national interest
