Weird schedule. No 'Halloween' game (I miss playing Tennessee in this slot), and also no cupcake before Clemson.

Was kind of hoping it would be a while before we get AU again so that we wouldn't lose to them so quickly after finally getting a W.
If fans are allowed I hope to make it down to the ECU game.

That is a very manageable first half there. A 5-2 or even 6-1 start is very much on the table here. This is probably the most favorable schedule we've drawn in years.

The Vandy and UT games are W's for y'all. Vandy remains, far and away, the worst team in the conference and UT might be below 50 scholarship players come the start of the season. 6 is probably the max without an absolutely shocking upset, but that wouldn't be a bad first season for Beamer.

I counted Tennessee as an L simply because it was on the road. I honestly thing that UT, SC and Vandy split their games next year, with the home team winning them.

at ECU
Kentucky
at Tennessee
Auburn
these are the 4 swing games. there's 3 'should win' games on that schedule. potential wins 4, 5, 6 or dare to dream 7 come from this pool.
at ECU - Gamecocks should be better than the Pirates, but USC is their biggest home game of the season. hard to call this one until we see what Carolina shows in the opener vs East Illinois.
Mike Houston's 2020 team got boatraced by UCF, Shawn Elliott's GA State & Cincinnati. Pirates cut shithead Jeffy Scott's USF arse by 20 and lost 2 close games to Navy & Tulsa by 4 each. Pirates were 1-6 before winning their final 2 games over Temple (28-3) & Garret Riley/SMU (52-38). ECU's game with USC at W-B was cancelled in 2020.
Gamecocks hold a 14-5 all-time advantage over the Pirates, winning 4 straight. last loss to ECU was in 1999. this will be USC's first-ever visit up to Dowdy-Ficklen Stadium.
2020 scoring offense - ECU 30.2 (50th) / USC 23.5 (98th)
2020 scoring defense - ECU 35.4 (102nd) / USC 36.0 (105th)
Kentucky - long time OC Eddie Gran was let go. our recently departed OL coach Eric Wolford was brought in. 5 of UK's first 6 games are in Lex. game 4 is at W-B. UK hosts UF & LSU immediately after playing Carolina so they'll no doubt count USC as a win on their schedule and can't help but to look ahead. we'll know more about UK when they host Missouri week 2.
at Tennessee - simply put, Neyland is a house of horrors for us. UTK's roster might be the worst it's been since Carolina joined the SEC, but until we actually go and win in Knox I'm not counting anything in USC's favor.
Auburn - Bobo 'bounty' game for Gamecock fans. there's a legit chance AU comes to W-B in November at 1-5 in the SEC and 4-6 overall. buyers remorse for firing Gus would be consuming their entire fan base/split boosters in a failed coaching change.
at Georgia, at Missouri, at Texas AM will each be double digit losses for USC, sadly. we may drop the first 8 in the series with TxAM before we win our first.
the Florida game after the bye week is an enigma. it's either Beamer's first chance to really jumpstart his program, or it's just another game in another lost season. it's not impossible for USC to go 5-3 before the bye week, but a lot would have to align. short of any divine intervention I anticpate Carolina arrives at the bye week 4-4 at best.

Good assessment, but here's the thing to all that: we have zero fricking clue what Beamer and his All-Star cast of genuinely talented G5 coaches bring to the table. We can say it looks like they can mesh well together, but that's it really. I may need to do a line or two after saying this, but even with Muschamp we did have a vague idea of what to expect that first season. We can't even gauge expectations based on Beamer's career as an assistant.

1-11 at worst, 4-8 at best.

We’ll start out 2-0 and the Beamer Cucks will start chirping and then we’ll get fricked by Georgia. Those idiots will say well he just doesn’t have the talent yet because muh Muschamp.
Then we’ll win the next two and they will beat their dicks yet again til we get humbled by Tennessee “well they are completely different than last season so Muh Excuses”. We’ll beat Vandy because they’re Vandy and the “Muh going to a bowl” shite will start and then we’ll do a 2007 all over again and those Kansas City Homos will start their “next year is the year” Stockholm Syndrome bullshite again.
frick the entirety of this gay earth

This is the craziest shite I've seen in my lifetime. Its like they took SJW'ing to the next level. Dems, Pubs, Indi's everybody wants to buttfrick wall street. I tend to not watch the news. So once I saw the damage I was already down 50% of what I'd made during pandemic. I guess the HF's were selling long positions to cover their short positions. I liquidated with half my earnings and will buy back in at value once the smoke clears.
