I'm sitting here eating a meal from Potbelly, which is probably the best chain sandwich shop I've found. One of the nice things about Potbelly is they supply Zapps's potato chips. I think Zapps are pretty good. Much better than Lays. I give em a 7/10. What's a better chip brand to try?

On the topic of chips, anyone notice that Frito's is trying to crowd out the designer, small company potato chips by marketing their Miss Vickie's? Don't be fooled by the marketing. Miss Vickie's isnt good.

When they first came out, they sort of cornered the "specialty" chip market locally. Now, there are other choices that are as good or better, imo.

ETA: Zapps needs to lighten up on the salt a bit.

I have friends from Pittsburgh who stock up on Zapps every time they come to LA. They're definitely some of the best chips on the market, but I think a lot of locals take them for granted.

Zapps ranks pretty high on my list. I'm trying to think of something that ranks higher than them and Golden Flake Cheese Puffs, but can't think of anything better.
