I’m gonna start one when I finish off my Bardstown Discovery, because I want to use that bottle.

Made by Barrell and their mix of state barrels and pretty damn good for the price.

Late to the party, FPD

Only a couple pours left.

Downvoter is consistent as frick . One day you need to identify yourself so that I can laugh at the right person.

Anyone ever had the Midleton Very Rare Vintage Release 2019? Wife picked me up one today but haven’t cracked it open yet. Interested in hearing your input.

Yep, which will be MGP. Assuming along the lines of Old Scouts 5-6 year SiBs. I'm not mad at that.

where'd you get that Arran?

Ordered it from overseas. It is the Bodega. I haven't seen it anywhere local, so if you do happen to come across it, don't hesitate. A great pour.

What does Blanton's retail for? What is a comparable or even better bourbon at that price point

Usually $60-$70. I enjoy Blanton's but won't go out of my way to hunt it. John J Bowman SB, EHT Small Batch, Eagle Rare, Maker's 101 (personal favorite), 1792 SB, Old Forester 1910, High West American Prairie. There are a ton that you can put your hands on that are just as good if not better. Most of those are cheaper than Blanton's and not impossible to find.

Paid $99 ti finally get 1. If it sold for 19.99, I wouldn't buy it unless I wanted the horse cork. Never been more disappointed. Maybe I got a bad bottle.

That's a bit much for me, it's a fine bottle at retail. It's absolutely overrated though because of the bottle and marketing, but the juice is good. It's just not the best.

It is super underwhelming for the amount of hype and BS it brings

You can tell the new bourbon drinkers by their desire to acquire blantons

I desire to get Blanton's until I've gotten all8 toppers from bottles I purchased, as well as one for each of my kid's birthdays to give them when they are old enough.

I've got 6 of the 8 letters, and one of the kid's birthdays. So I'm good after I find three more total. Two of them will be easy
