I wondered how long it would take for fake bottles to show up with the crazy secondary market for bourbons.

Yea tOOf. I saw you got your bottles and I was like " WAIT A GAHT DAYM MINUTE!" so i contacted them to find out what the deal was and they said , we are shipping today..... So they definitely screwed up my order. But I'm not mad, I now have 3 different barrel picks of New Riff from all over the place.

There’s an account on facespace that investigates bottles that are suspected fakes. People buy empties on eBay and refill and attempt to re-seal them. Motherfrickers.

Adam Herz(The expert used by inside edition) does quite a bit on Facebook for uncovering folks. He uncovered a ring of Trace employees selling refilled fakes of van winkles.

Got a special bottle in the mail today. This one was bottled on my son's birthday. The plan is to save it for his 21st. We'll see how long that lasts

as good as this bottle is, and it is, the picks from RR are much better. Can't wait to open them.
