Where to buy beer in Houston?

headed to Houston this week for a meeting, staying by the galleria. Any suggestions where I can find a nice selection of craft beer to bring back home ? Thanks

Since it's close by, go check out the new Whole Foods at the corner of San Felipe and Post Oak. Just got back from there tonight. Very impressive selection I must say.

Yeah that new Post Oak Whole Foods is pretty cool. Check it out if for nothing more than to have a beer at their bar/brewery.

Da fuq? Now, I've never been in a Specs, but I am more than familiar with Total Wine. I'd say the various locations I've shopped at "shite on" the convenience store on the corner, Wal-Mart, Target, your local grocery chain, and other stores of that tier. But a dedicated beer and liquor retailer? Seems like hyperbole to me.

I can't think of the last time I've gone with the intent to buy beer and spent less than $30. That's a pretty low bar to suggest excellence.
