I found a ham shank. They are going to cut it into 4 pieces for me.

I hate cooking beans in the crock pot... because I always stuff myself on beans and rice. Can't stop eating the stuff.

After it's cooked and cooled, put half in the freezer so you don't over stuff yourself.
I might have done that too soon with the last batch. My husband was counting on some white beans and ham to go with his dinner. Oops!
