I saw that thread on the OB. One of my favorite threads on there was your trip to the Yucatan last year. That had to have been so awesome.

That was one of the most memorable trips of my life. At the time I said it was something I'd likely do only once but I'm sure I'll do it again sometime.

My late uncle/god father at one time had a guide service in the Yucatan for puma and jaguar hunting. He was also a past Chairman of the NWTF.

That's a cool gig, I heard a jaguar while on my hunt but didn't lay eyes on one. We did spot the carcass of a coatimundi that was hanging off a tree that had been dragged there by a jaguar while walking the jungle. Theres little doubt in my mind that the big cat was close by and watched us ease through...

Yeah had to have been. He was actually the subject of a Sports Illustrated article back in the late 50's with his service. Jaguars are so badass. Their natural range at one time included Louisiana. It would be cool to reintroduce them like wolves in Yellowstone.

Zuchini lasagna with some ground venison using my mother's patient's red sauce she makes from scratch with one arm.
No salad tonight,
A few extra stouts,
A magnum of Cab.
