Major problem today. Lucy came home from her post night shift job + work out at 9 a.m.
Me: "You've got leftover hamburger; corn bread; leftover fried catfish from Brookshire's deli; leftover Shrimp Scampi. I'll eat what you don't want."
Her: "Oooh, I've been wanting more Scampi. I'll have that."
She opens the tupper. "There is some lettuce in here!"
Me: "Yeah, I made a cold salad with some Romaine. I'll pick the lettuce out."
Her: "No, there are lettuce atoms on my Scampi. You ruined it. I'll have corn bread. Make me some more Shrimp Scampi this week."
Me: "Yes, dear."
Sooo... Lucy had cornbread. I had the catfish. Dogs had the Scampi and the burger. Made some fresh pasta with ground beef and sausage just now. Also made fresh corn bread.
I must remember not to mix lettuce atoms with other food.
