I got an email from Texas De brazil wishing me a Happy Birthday. The only thing is that the email was blank. all i could see was my name and a date and the fine print stuff at the bottom. Do they offer something for your birthday or something?

thanks catman,
I got one more question.
My birthday falls on a Tuesday, so I already have the 50% off coupon. So they are not going to honor both correct?

The coupon that was generously posted last week for 50% off did not show up on my work computer, evidently because it was on Photobucket, so I had to print it out at home.

FYI, took the family last night, used the coupon and saved $85. And the food and service were stellar. We so got our money's worth that none of us could eat breakfast this morning.

BTW, be SURE to make reservations. We made them for 7 last night, arrived at 6:45, and were not seated until around 7:30. Especially recommend the house specialty (top sirloin), lamb chops and fillet (the plain better than the bacon-wrapped). Make sure to get your mint jelly for the lamb from the salad bar before you launch the meat eat. Salad bar was amazing, as was the Brazillian Cheesecake that was comped for my son's birthday (in addition to the 50% off).

We will go back, fer sure!

Same here. You and I were seated at the same time last night, but my reservations were for 7:15.

I think the meats were a little overcooked and overseasoned, and it's probably due to the sheer volume. When i went with my in-laws a couple of weeks ago, the food was much better because we beat the crowd.

My GF got the birthday coupon and it said on it that she had something like 2 weeks to use it. I dont think you could use it on a Saturday was the only restriction though. But if you go with two people (and have to pay) in reality you are still only getting 50% off but you can use it on more days. If you go with a crowd the Tuesday deal is better because its 50% off of up to 6 people.

ILike-wonder if you were in the area that they opened to seat all the people that were waiting-they definitely got backlogged. Actually, most everything we had was medium rare, with the exception of the bacon-wrapped fillet, which is one reason we did not like it as much. If you saw an dude missing half his hair, a really cute blonde and two towering teenagers, you probably saw us. Our server was a yound lady named Jacey, and she was money. Once we tasted everything once (and I would swear we did everyting but the sausage) and I zeroed in on my three favorites, all I had to do was ask her, and in seconds, there was a spit of whatever I wanted right in front of me. She was really terrific.
