Just the typical attitude by some of the people that post here. May as well never eat out if you can't eat at the very best restaurant in that category of food, even if you're in a different state

I was wearing my cleanest affliction shirt and cargos. Maybe cause I wasn't wearing my good flip flops.

I was being serious. Where are these managers scanning people leaving. I've never seen it.

Not leaving, while you're eating. It's ridiculous.

If you haven't noticed, I don't know what to tell you. Go back and look again.

Do you mean like someone orders the salad bar only and then tries to eat meat?

Maybe that's what it is.

Well the food was decent but their clientele is trash. Sat next to a 20 top of lp rednecks. Their kids were running all over the place and broke a bottle right next to out table. The trash momma began screaming at the kid.

Then the patriarch of the group threw his red/green tiddlywink at one of the kids. It hit my wife in the face. A verbal assault started with me and gramps. Then trash momma jumped in the shouting match. Her husband started to get out of his chair. He was a big fricker so I calmed the convo down. It ended.

Bottom line: food good. General public has no idea how to act anymore.

Wow, I'm surprised there is so much hate on Texas de Brazil.

And as for this...

Awesome, compared to what? Have you been to Fogo de Chao before? That place is quality, not Texas de brazil.
The salad bar at TDB is waaaay better than Fogo. The tabouli is better, there actually IS lobster bisque, and I don't think Fogo had smoked salmon either.

Honestly I didn't think there was much difference in the meat between the two, though I did enjoy the sausage at TDB better.

I've also been to Tradicao in Houston, and while good, it can't hold Fogo's or TDB's jock.

Yeah, and lunchbox has never seen the meat bouncers making sure people 'who only buy salad bar' don't steal food.

I passed on it this year. Not sure I'll go back even for half the menu price. I thought the crowd was rough the last time I went too.

Oh well.

You know you can ask for the low sodium meat right?

I love the place, but only go there when I have a coupon handy (free birthday meal). Otherwise, I think $100 is too expensive. I love the salty meat though and put down some flank steak.

That's with any high sodium meal. You guys need to ask for the low sodium meat.

Grab a tablespoon fill it with salt, eat. There, I saved you a trip to that overrated hole.

I like TDB.

The bread, lobster bisque, and potatoes au gratin were the best I've had. Only problem is that it filled me up before I even got a chance to eat the meat.

I'd rather go to Ruth's Chris. It wasn't good enough for a return trip.

Never had the desire to go. I don't finish normal portions of food as is.. And I never order meat dishes anyway.

My roommate and her bf went for their "anniversary" and were so full that they were in pain and had to come home and go to bed.. On their night off to celebrate. Obviously that's their fault for eating so much but I'm just not enough of an eater for AYCE

They probably ate too quickly, made that mistake the first time I went. With places like TdB, you need to allot yourself 2 to 2 and a half hours so that you can try everything at a slow pace. We bring 2 bottles of wine with us when we go, and last time ended up there for almost 3 hours. Definitely need to drink lots of water during the meal as well.

It's definitely not for everyone, and not even something I'd want to do too often. But I enjoy going 1 or 2 times a year.
