It's too hot to do anything else. In a Mexican mood. Steak and eggs tostada this morning.

Hungover drinking sparking water with lime.

I'm about to start a pork adobada to freeze for opening weekend of teal season. Will probably start a whole thread in it.

Roasted pork loin, homemade mac and cheese, black eyed peas and snaps, and cornbread. Might make some iced tea.

At least that's the plan.

Chicken stew over rice, roasted broccoli and zucchini. Have leftover smothered turnips I'll heat up too.

Fired the egg up this morning for an all day outdoor cook. For breakfast, smoked a slab of salmon. Ate it on toasted ciabatta with cream cheese, red onions, and capers.

Getting ready to throw some wings on, then ribs for dinner. Will update with more pics.

ETA pic of wings.

ETA rib pics. Some of my best ever. Changed things up a bit today, and very happy with the results.

Ribs went on at 10:30 this morning. Cooked some quinoa to make salads with during the week.

Damn, son. I prefer simple smoked salmon appetizers. Give me a cracker and some lemon juice over those extra toppings. Perfect snack for when you are out on the boat.

cooking some vanilla ice cream right now to go with a blueberry cobbler I'm gonna make later. Also gonna have braised chicken over dirty rice with cucumber tomato salad from my garden for dinner. Need to find time to ride my bike up to a brewery to fill my growler.

Ok. Used a new rub that had some cinnamon flavor. It was different.
