We have to go to a funeral tommorow in Freeport, and will be coming back on 288, can any of you recommend some good restaurants along the way back?

Joes BBQ in Alvin (hwy 6) is good. And Killens is a Damn good steakhouse in pearland.

The only place I would recommend is The Local in downtown Lake Jackson. Excellent excellent burgers, sandwiches, salads, etc. You will walk in and be like where did this place come from cause it is exponentially nicer than anywhere else in the area. You also have you typical chain restaurants off 288 on 518 in the Pearland Towncenter area.

I'd go to Kilens if just me the wife and my mom, but sister, husband and nephews are coming
