Last year at this time, I heard from a good source that Galatoire's was set to close. It didn't obviously.
The week before Christmas, we made the mistake of making a reservation at the Gregory on the same night as the BR Christmas parade and naturally couldn't get anywhere near the place and had to cancel.
Scrambling, we called Galatoire's and they got us right in. There were only two other tables occupied that night and a few people in the bar. The food was good, but if you can't be busier on a Saturday night, I don't understand how you can stay open.

That’s one of the last places that I could think of that would close.

Also, whatever is in that horrible location on One Calais drive off Essen. It blows my mind that people continue to try to make the location a restaurant
Omi is fantastic. I'd be really sad if the only place in town serving authentic Chinese dishes closed.

I nailed my pick with The Dive Bar last year. Though that was a gimme, probably -500 in betting terms.
My gimme pick for the year this year is Canefield Tavern. I'm honestly surprised that they survived the summer.
I wouldn't be surprised to see The Pelican House close but apparently they have a strong following of die hard loyalists.

The place was packed the last two times I've been. Solid meal there as well. The courtyard is very nice on a warm day.

This place will be done within 6 months if I had to put money on it. Ole told me it gets beat up on the next door app too.

From what I can tell, the Sam's on Sherwood is already closed. It never appears to be open. If so, it only lasted about 3 - 4 months. The Hardee's on Sherwood has closed. The Dunkin Donuts on Sherwood has closed. I would guess that Lee's Hamburgers is struggling for business. Obviously, that Podnuh's on Sherwood has business. It has been there forever.

That location just has bad luck. Since Calendars closed down nothing has been able to survive in that spot for more than a year or so. I don't know if it's because it is so hard to get in and out of or what.

So you're basically saying everything on sherwood is closing?

kept telling us where it was but there is zero signage on Airline.
There is a sign, albeit not the most visible one that is set away from the restaurant and visible on Airline Highway.

Is this place legit?
I like it, but I generally don't venture out too much from a dish that I initially like at a restaurant. He makes a good and rich Alfredo sauce.

Good choice. Out of all the QSR burger places, I like their burger and fries the best. But out of all the QSR burger places, their customer service was and has been atrocious. And I blame that on the franchise owner.

South of Philly and the Londoner are still going strong. I’m a little worried about the Hawk’s Newst now that Big Head has passed away.

My 100% bet the mortgage on it pick is whatever is currently in the old Uncle O's spot on Sherwood. That location is cancer.
It's a Sam's Southern Eatery that isn't even open yet. But yes, just since Uncle O's, Sam's will be the third new restaurant at that location. If it does open - as someone else pointed out, the "Opening Soon" message on the sign has been there forever.

Bergeron’s? Nobody goes there anymore. It’s too crowded.

I’m surprised it’s lasted this long in that obscure location.
