The point of a reverse is to slowly increase macros without gaining, or at least minimize gaining. It's to recover from long periods of cutting calories..so you can go back to cutting calories but at a higher calorie count so you can lose weight without losing tons of strength and without feeling so deprived. Some gaining is normal, though.

And this a work trip.. at a conference for training.

Network administrator at a local ISP. I work mostly on the backbone of our network.

I would, you can do better I'm sure.

I brought our big set of tractor tires to the slidell group yesterday, so managed to sneak in an extra hour with them, and then back to abita tonight, three days in a row so far!

Niiice! Did you get your truck taken care of? I know that was a million years ago, but I've been meaning to ask.

I've been excruciatingly exhausted this week. It's probably a stress response to work being nuts, but I can't shake it. I feel like I could close my eyes and sleep for a week. Such a yuck feeling.

I haven't been following this thread, but I have lost 50 lbs in about 8 months. No fancy diets, but I cut out fast food, soft drinks, and most sweets. I would eat a bowl of ice cream around 8 PM 2-3 nights a week. Not anymore.

I was around 240 at my heaviest, and now I am around 190. I am 35 years old, 6'3" and went from a 38+ waist to around a 34. I feel great and its great to wear nice trim fit clothes again.

The motivation was not only for my health, but also because my divorce was finalized in 2016, and I needed to get back in the game. I have 2 kids ages 5 & 6 and I have them full time. Not much time to workout so I lost my weight on the diet side.

My routine now consists of coffee for breakfast, at work I would eat a sandwich and chips, and go out to eat 2-3 times a week for lunch. Now I eat a Clif bar aorund 11 and another one at 1. Smart dinner, nothing greasy or fried, and I don't go back for the second plate like I used to. Maybe a handful of pretzels around 8 PM.

I just wanted to share this for anyone out there on the fence. There is no gimmick, just consume less than you are expending and you will lose weight. I don't watch carbs, sugars, macros etc., I just basically have an idea of how many calories I am eating a day. If I go a little over one day I may only eat one clif bar at lunch. The weekends are harder because I am out of my normal schedule, but just being able to look good in the mirror and wear trim fit clothes is a great motivator for me.

Awesome job! Thank you for sharing your story. Divorce sucks tremendously; it's a win when something positive like weight loss and feeling better can come from the mess.

I've been so freaking exhausted and have had a low level headache for a week. I'm getting paranoid that I have mono or I'm pregnant or something. Both are extremely unlikely, but this is not normal for me. Ughhh.

I'm taking more Advil/day than I should. And drinking coffee and water. I'm sleeping fine, but don't feel rested. No clue.
