Faubourg Lager over Canebreak? In what world?
1) Faubourg is awful
2) Canebreak isn't even a fricking lager
3) I don't know what morons judged Pilsner/Lager, but their picks are terrible. It's like they went to Chili's and just tried to pick local beers.
Any lager brewery in Louisiana ranking that does not include parleaux is just a fraud. And Agile Brewing's Narrow Path Pilsner is also a fantastic pils.
The organizers of Nola on Tap went on the church facebook group and decided to start attacking people if they criticize the festival. Not sure that's a smart strategy criticizing any critique before it happens.

So, i'm going to go through some their winners list.
Pale ale/IPA
1st - Murphy - it's a solid DIPA. Castle made of clouds from gnarly barley is the best IMO, but i doubt it made it to nola on tap.
2nd - When has Jockamo ever not been a terrible IPA?
Lager/Pilsner:
1. Faubourg -
2. Zony Mash - Zony Pony - never had it, but i find all of ZM's beers to be kind of underwhelming.
3. Canebreak - It's not even a lager.
Fan Favorites:
Pale Ale/IPA
1. Abita - Because when i think ipa, i think abita.
2. Flying Tiger
3. Gnarly Barley
