I've imbibed with plenty of bourbons, but KC is truly unique, and awesome.

Agreed. I'm quite a Knob Creek fan myself.

Even better sipping if knob is being polished at the time.

Knob is okay. You want something real damn good? Try George T. Stagg. You will never view bourbons the same. That said, it's expensive. Other good bourbons are Rock Hill Farms, William LaRue Weller, Thomas Handy (Rye), and Parker's Heritage Collection: Golden Anniversary.

Good Hint: Old Grand Dad with the "Bonded" gold bar on it is a 100 proof that is actually the same blend and aged the same as Basil Haydens -- but the Basil Haydens is actually diluted down and sold for $25 more!!! At my local store, the Old Grand Dad bonded is $16.99 and Basil Haydens is $38

Woodford Reserve is where it's at.....

I'm still debating on what I want to buy this weekend.

Woodford or Jack Daniels Honey

1.75L of KC is $50 at Albertsons.

1.75L of WR is $64 at Albertson's.

NO fricking way WR is $14 better than KC

All a matter of personal taste. I like both but they don't taste that much alike. KC has a smoky/charcoal flavor that other bourbons lack. Try the KC Single Barrel Reserve (120 proof). Now that is some good stuff !

And for the record, I had my first bottle of Booker's recently and I will definitely visit that experience again !

Yukon Jack has been doing that for years.

What's with this newly found love for flavored whiskeys? I guess I've been living in a cave because I just found out that there's a Crown Maple.

I find Woodford to be a little too sweet. Def prefer Knob Creek or Bulleit.
