Well, I'm just thinking that you may not get the KBS frenzy that you are expecting. It won't be anywhere near the level of the Pappy release because there is a metric frick ton of KBS in baton rouge right now as opposed to the tiny amount of Pappy that finds its way here.

The amount of phone calls we are still getting about it , doesnt match up with your theory

Well for all who still want some KBS, I heard Whole Foods was going to have some for sale today. No need to ride Calandro's jock on this one. Plenty of places in town are willing to sell the shite without all of this BS fanfare.

Nah, they already sold theirs like a normal business would do. They had plenty of people in their store too that weren't even buying beer. Maybe you should ask them for pointers on how to run a grocery store.

I did. They answered my questions. I'm just curious why The retailers have no clue when it's coming. Don't y'all place an order or something?

I never once in here said I thought you were lying. Quite the opposite.

You're getting phone calls because people are aware that it came into town and they haven't purchased any from your store.

FWIW, I said in another thread that I feel slightly bad about the flack you're getting because I know y'all had good intentions and y'all were genuinely trying to get some other "rares" in and make it extra special for people. I get that--and that's cool. You're a nice guy.

But like someone else said, it is disappointing to be at the store on Monday and be told to come back Wednesday.. then to see all the stores receive the beer on Tuesday, so I call up there (because I am a loyal Calandros shopper) and I'm told to come back in the afternoon when the manager is in, so I stop after work and am told that you are not planning to sell it yet.. and then I sign on here and see that it isn't until after Easter.

I have plenty of KBS now and have no need to come in for it now--raffle or not. I'm not angry and I get why y'all chose the route y'all did, but it is annoying that I overspend on groceries at Calandros weekly because I want to support a local place with good beer, and I can't even purchase a beer they have in stock.

And you still have to pull ridiculous stunts do drum up more customers? Sounds like you are doing something way wrong.

I'm not denying that you arent. I see you in here all the time. I truly had no idea what CJs intentions of the beer were at the time. I would have told you so if I did

False. We try to be different. We are expecting to get some other rare stuff and doing something for it. Some of yall are really convinced that we are doing this to piss people off

Believe me, I know. I definitely don't think you were trying to slight me; y'all have always been good when I come in. Like I said--I know CJ was really trying to do a good thing and give people something "extra" with the other beers as a bundle.
