I want thin cut onion rings...the kind with a light enough coating so the onion browns during the frying. Where should I go? TIA.

The little restaurant at Audubon park's golf course has theses onion rings and a pretty good burger. Though I haven't been in 2 years.

I recall Mahoney's treated their rings in that fashion.

I was down in Chalmette for work recently and had forgotten how good Rocky and Carlo's onion rings are.

Mahoney's are indeed thin cut, but too heavily coated for the onions inside to brown.

DiMartino's does their onion rings like this. They are good, and a huge portion, but I believe they are almost $8
