We're big fans of Government Street Grocery in Ocean Springs (yes, I know it's past Biloxi)
It's like Chelsea's Cafe, except with a better beer selection and better food. And I like Chelsea's.

I've never been impressed with 1/2 Shell in Gulfport, maybe the Biloxi location is better though. Drive Hwy 90 from from I10, stop in Bay St Louis. Bouy's, 200 N Beach, Trapanis, The Blind Tiger all at the Marina...you won't want to leave. This post was edited on 6/9 at 2:01 pm

The Biloxi half shell is much better than the gulfport one

Murky water bbq in downtown os is 1000x better than shed. Plus great beer
selection and great downtown area

I second this, their Burnt ends are great.

Fair enough. I had to check the suggested restaurant's website at first because I thought you were implying that it serves breakfast food

Since you are headed to Dauphin Island, you could hit this place in Pascagoula. Great poboys.
