FFBD (first five) were Sam Adams Summer Ale. Meh. Hadn't tried it before so picked up a six pack. Also drank a St Arnold's Weedwacker leftover from a couple weeks ago. More meh. Neither bad but neither outstanding,
Hopefully tomorrow yields better results. Heading to Biloxi for my bachelor party in the morning, I know Mississippi is sort of (or was) a black hole for craft beer, but anything I should look for while in the area?

I've tried and just don't like SA Summer Ale. No advice on Biloxi beer other than to bring good stuff with you from Louisiana.

Yeah it was pretty bland, IMHO.
My buddy picking me up in the morning home brews, might ask him to bring some. He's made some real good stuff. Visited his "lab" a week ago and he had a few different kinds in the fermenter including a fresh blackberry and also strawberry wheat.
If you're reading this, you know who you are. (he's a lurker)

Ommegang is so solid. In this heat I've been buying the Rare Vos and Hennepin.

I made a few rounds thru campus and tried to catch as much of it as I could before I crossed State into Belhaven at the south corner of campus--Fairview Street, I think. I only made it a few blocks up in there and the hills did me in so I had to head back to Cabot.

My nephew, who is a senior here, is recommending it. I am with my dad, daughter, nephew so today is not a good time for us to meet for a beer. My daughter will be back here next year though and we'll have a few.
We can't find the baseball game on Comcast today. Is it televised here?

yes it will be on sport south (channel 32 on comcast). i think that's 402 on HD.
