Heading to Richmond for a wedding this weekend and looking for good lunch and dinner spots nearby. We are staying a few blocks from VCU.

Pad Thai on Meadowbridge Road for lunch. Looks like a dump, very good food.

Juleps for a little more upscale

Capital Ale House has a ridiculous beer selection and the food is good for being a bar. Definitely a notch above normal bar food.

Going to second Bottom's Up. It's an RVA institution.

The Chesapeake pizza at Bottoms Up is the best I've ever had. They have a pretty good band play Sunday nights.

Selosas on W. Cary is a great sandwich shop-- selosas
