Ok so here is MBP's thoughts on a night spent at Corporate Brew and Draft as well as the Cove.
First off, I know it was a random Wednesday night, but both places were beyond dead.
However I hate overly packed places and was looking to just shoot the shite with the guys so it was perfect.
Corporate Brew and Draft was "plain" as one of my buddies put it. Being a foodie, this kind of atmosphere and decor appealed to me. I enjoyed the simplicity and the fact that the owners weren't trying to hide the purpose of their establishment with flashy shite just to get people into the door. I also absolutely loved how they separated the taps and sectioned things off. A big pet peeve of mine is walking into a draft house and seeing 100 beer taps lined up. So much confusion ensues when trying to figure out what is where and which ones are eliminated from contention.
We started of sampling a few sours which, believe it or not, I had yet to try. Then I moved onto a few stouts and porters as well as a couple Pale Ales. The 5oz pours might be the best thing ever. I was able to try about 8-10 different beers and spent around 15 bucks before tip. The bartenders were knowledgeable and helpful. It is hard to tell on TD sometimes if posters are being sarcastic, especially when it involves the Food Board. I know some were joking about giving this place a good review, but how can I not? They appealed to exactly my taste.
We finished up at the Cove where one of the guys with us ranted and raved about a bloody mary made by a particular bartender. I know, dont get me started on that. I obliged anyway and order the ghost pepper bloody mary. It was definitely hot, but not as bad as I expected.
Ended up being a great night and my happy arse will definitely be back to Corporate Brew and Draft. I expect the free trail mix next time though

If you're ever bored, read this thread in its entirety. It is simply a running joke. Consensus seems to be that CBD is legit.

Very nice but an entire bottle is a bit much after CBS/KBS/Imperial Stout
