What's the review from the experts on this board? Haven't been and thinking about checking it out.

It's certainly a top five in most peoples list mine included. I love the place with big or small group.

It's outside of my top 5 in town, not by much.

The menu is dated, but all the classics are well executed.

It's an enjoyable place with a tremendous scotch/whiskey list.

I've not met anyone who didn't enjoy their experience.

Sweetbreads are a must.

ok, in no specific order.

Herbsaint
Coquette
Domenica
August
Bayona

I would have to think about it a little more. That's off the top of my head.

Food is tasty, but the atmosphere is a bit too clubby for my taste. Everyone always seems to know everyone else, it can be an obnoxious festival of mutually admiring post debs and their coterie. Smoked softshell crab is worth putting up with the Uptowners, though.
