Unfortunately, yes it is a lame name. I hope they pull it off but that location is just asking for a minimal amount of visitors.

What could go wrong with a tap room in NOLA East? Are they brewing any malt beers?

The owner is a nice guy, hope this place does well. I hope he understands the importance of having a tap room for creating a steady profit stream.

Seems they settled for the cheapest real estate that they could find just so they could finally get started.

I remember trying their beer a few years back and a festival and was not impressed

Yeah well it’s the closest brewery from Visions so that’s not bad.

You may be right regarding the cheapest real estate.

I remember them winning that "Big Idea" contest like 4 years ago and getting a $50K grant. Guess you can do a lot with that check out in da FAR East.

There's 40 Arpent's old brewery and taproom in Old Arabi waiting for someone to scoop it up and start again. 40 Arpent had a good crowd but not a great business plan to sustain. Bring a local taproom back to the chalmations

Well, can't get soul in your beer many other places other than this...

A buddy of mines brother is involved with a brewery opening in old Arabi and it seems like they are taking over the 40 Arpent space. Stained glass brewing or something similar. He just knows it will be right by the barracks so it makes sense.
