I like the small ones op but they are hard to find. My last batch was too salty. And that says a lot because I love salt.

I would kill for some peanuts. I was going to get some shipped in but I think I have probably waited too late. I like them with just salt, wife like the crab boil.

Love some boiled peanuts. You should take some over to Smith Wills to watch state’s baseball team scrimmage today and tomorrow

One question—what makes boiled peanuts Cajun boiled peanuts? Adding crab boil and some cayenne?

I love boiled peanuts. My dad got me hooked on them when I was a kid and I have to have them at least 5 or 6 times during football season.

Flashback- first time I remember tasting them was what I think was the 1982 Ole Miss vs Bama game in Jackson, MS when Bear Bryant was still coaching. Some guy sitting behind us share his jumbos with us

I made boiled peanuts for the first time with this recipe. I used a homebrewed ipa and added some crab boil. Perfect amount of salt and very good.

10lbs of goobers on the stove - interesting recipe had to try it. Expensive using the stout beer - hopefully the results will be worth the expense.
Cheers & thanks-

Nothing better. I boil 3 or 4 sacks a year for us and family and freeze them. My kids love them still half frozen in the summer. And they compliment a cold beer real well.

Back at it again today.

Have a busy rest of the week, so may hold these guys in the refrigerator until Thursday or Friday and have them with FB game Saturday.

This is a habit I need to break or at least slow down.
