Jameson is usually what I've drank in the past, but I'm looking to try something new for the Saints game tonight, any suggestions?

If you're a bourbon guy I really like Blantons. About $50.

Laphroaig 15-year or 1/4 cask, both are excellent.

I bought a bottle this past weekend because of all the hubbub on here.

Meh...good, not great. However, for 40 bucks it's not bad.

haha

In all seriousness, I love Blanton's but not 50%more than Makers Mark, and when it's all said and done, Jim Beam is good enough.

I heard a similar remark from a friend of mine the other day. Most stores in my area it runs about $33-35. I love the 46, but I also really enjoy the original Makers. I find those that dont like the original arent a fan of the new blend either.

Got to 2nd the bookers, its definitely the sippin kind.... also by the same people I like Basil Hayden, both of these good small batch whiskeys from Jim Bean's family. I like Makers, but why is the end all of all whiskeys here? There are much better stuff than Makers, well at least I think in the same price range and definitely for just a tad bit more..

I am normally a Crown guy, but really enjoy the B family (Basil, Bookers, Blantons). Just picked up a bottle of Makers 46-pretty smooth, but prefer the above mentioned better...

Bookers, bakers, basil haydens or the new makers 46 are all solid options

I got a shot of this the other night while in St. Louis. I was surprised how smooth it was and sipped it from the shot glass.
