I don't really know. It's a perplexing phenomenon.

I actually had a dumb broad in Lafayette try to argue with me one time that the beer companies "put" the same amount of alcohol in the 10 oz beers as they do the 12 oz beers, making the 10 oz ones a much more efficient means to drink the beer, and therefore, that is why they were preferable.

I swear to god.

Say what you want, 10oz beer tailgating is much better. Stays cold. Women more likely to not throw half of it away. Etc.

I've never seen 10oz at Walmart.

No, I'm not from Laffy.

The Winn-Dixie on Burbank/College. At least three or four times I have purchased a case and thought I had a great deal. Only later do I realize I got the pony cans. Now I always double check.

Albertsons at burbank and bluebonnet used to have them. SO accidentally bought them once for tailgate. I tried to bring them back and was especially not happy when I realized a 24pack of 10oz was a couple dollars more than a 24pack of 12oz cans.

ETA: They wouldn't take them back.

Throwing only 40% of it away is a big improvement?

I've never understood this phenomenon either.

I think 10 oz beer must only be sold in South LA, because I never see it sold anywhere else.

My shooting and drinking buddy prefers 10 oz. Hell, I sometimes wish you could buy six packs of 24 oz beers, the 16's go pretty quickly.
