I'd bet that smash burger on corporate is closed by years end. Too much better competition very close by in my opinion. The last few times we went we were the only ones on there. Talking 6:00 on a weeknight. Should have at least some semblance of a dinner crowd. Unless they absolutely kill it at lunch I don't see how they can continue.

Why are there so many burger places? has to be the most overstaurated market. way too much competition.

No, that would be women’s boutiques and sushi restaurants.

I don’t know if they are going t close, but they are going to lose about $60-70k simply because the U.S. did not make the World Cup in soccer this year.

Might be a bit of a stretch. Those fans are still going to attach to a team and head there for the games.

My best friend bartends upstairs at The Smiling Dog. Londoner and Dog are owned by the same people and the Dog has been killing it. It's probably propping the Londoner up a bit right now, but when it comes to Soccer it has that crowd tied down.

I think both bars need to step up their craft beer game though. I used to go there exclusively for that, but they don't seem to cater to that crowd anymore. I was at the Dog the other night because my buddy was working and they didn't have a single IPA on tap aside from Wrought Iron by Abita. That's ridiculous.

I went in here for lunch maybe 6 weeks ago, I was the only customer, but during that time they did have about 25 to-go orders from Waitr. That may be a lifeline for some of these places.

Check the can / bottle selection next Time. Usually have holy roler, voodoo cans & envie on tap. They also had cbs on tap last week. Hate the 10oz pours though

Londoner is busy for brunch and soccer games. They need better specials and also better food. Their portions are small. good mimosa deal tho.

And it’s neighbor Bar Louie. I don’t know how it keeps the doors open, there is never anyone there.

Jimmy John's does a ton of delivery to the hospital and medical offices. Plus catering from sales people and vendors to the medical community

Why? Every time we go it is pretty busy. Went at a random time on a weekend and there was even a wait. Seems to be doing well and the food is good for what it is.

I predict La Contea. Went once and it was okay, but more importantly that shopping center is nestled behind a bank and coffee shop.

Eliza is in the same place and seems to be doing well.
