12 team keeper league. 1/2 PPR scoring. Keep 4 players each year.

Due to some fortunate trading & having the top pick 2 years ago, I have a very strong group of keepers.

Zeke/DJ/Kamara/Julio

Guy with the 1.01 pick (Barkley) is interested in something that would essentially be Zeke for Barkley.

I get:

Mark Ingram
Year 2018 Draft Pick 1.01 (Barkley)
Year 2018 Draft Pick 8.12
Year 2018 Draft Pick 12.07

I give
Elliott, Ezekiel DAL RB
Year 2018 Draft Pick 1.09
Year 2018 Draft Pick 5.09
Year 2018 Draft Pick 6.04

Working on a counter, as I feel like I should get the better overall draft picks after looking at the deal.

I'm sure he will counter with Ingram having some value (he would possibly be my "new" 4th keeper after the deal, but i als have Brees & Evan Engram from last years roster to consider as possible 4th keepers.

Any thoughts/advice?

I don’t like it. Maybe if you dropped/ changed the 6 for a 12 it might work.

What names do you see as available at 1.09?

I honestly wouldn’t trade Zeke to start with. I’d try to trade DJ or Julio for a top tier WR to use with Zeke and Kamara. I don’t think I’d break that combo up period.

Huh? Julio is a top tier WR. Have countered with draft picks more im my favor so we will see the response.

I have thrown out some Kamara offers, but i honestly wuld rather keep Alvin & DJ. Something about Zeke i just dont trust. Would rather have Saquon.

But...bottom line is i feel like in in the drivers seat here & dont have to settle for ANY deal.

I’m not as high on Julio as most this year. I don’t trust DJ coming off a season long injury on a bad team with a new QB when they play the rams and Seahawks twice each. I get if you don’t trust Zeke he’d be your least desired of the group. Even with draft picks if I’m trading Zeke I better be getting an equal level WR in return IMO. Guy like Nuk Hopkins would seem reasonable here.

I don't see that as a terrible offer....I would probably do it depending on what you think Barkley will do. His hammy is a worry and Zeke is healthy....

Also because there is shite for receiver in Dallas Zeke is going to get a million touches.

8+12 for 5+6 are the deal breakers for me

Would rather roll with what you have and flex an elite back

Zeke for Barkley and Ingram while sliding 9 rounds in draft captial out of starter territory into bench/sleeper territory would probably cost you a run at the championship...

That is a bad deal for you

The idea is always to mitigate risk. You have of the best players in fantasy in terms of volume and skillset. There’s not much else for you to do here

You do not trade Zeke for the opportunity to draft guys who carry more risk. You’re essentially swapping the RBs as the pick value isn’t as great as you think

Why would you want Ingram and Kamara on the same team?

That’s a bad deal for you. You’re giving up zeke and a first which is too much IMO. Plus giving up your 5th and 6th and only getting an 8th and 12th. No way I’d do that

ETA: I just noticed you’d get Ingram too which doesn’t make the deal as bad. I still wouldn’t do it though

If you have DJ, Kamara, Julio, Barkley, Ingram...where does Ingram fit in as a keeper?

Barkley isnt a keeper...he is pick 1.1

Would either keep Brees, Engram or Ingram in that case. BUT im still working to even the other draft picks. Not agreeing to it otherwise.

I initiated the deal as i feel like i have a fairly stacked top 4 & can take chances here. Plus i just dont want to trust Zeke...as. his saga was a major PITA last season & id rather bet long term on Saquon.

Being in a good position has me in a good bargaining spot. I dont have to make any deals to feel like a have a team to win it all. So i asked for 5th & 7th originally in return & he countered with 8th & 12th.

Unless he agrees to flip back my direction on the picks i wont do it.
