No one wants Eli in a trade dude.

And you're completely giving up all the value you tried to score by drafting Gronk if you trade him right now.

Stay where you're at. Eli isn't that bad, he's just a bit inconsistent; everyone gaffed at you taking him the 6th, not at you taking him. He's perfectly capable of putting up very respectable numbers.

Stop panicking.

What do you think about picking up Bradford to backup russel Wilson instead of cutler?

PS they play each other during Wilson's bye week.

I know, just

Romo
AP
Morris
Wayne
Nicks
Graham
Deangelo Williams/Kenny Britt

Seems better than

Eli
AP
CJ2k
Wayne
Nicks
Graham
Gronk

Not real sure. All I know is Romo is better than Eli and having AP and Morris would be TD city.

I want to believe Bradford is going to be leaps and bounds better this year, I really do; I just don't.

At least with Cutler, you can bank on him getting the ball to Marshall in the endzone. Maybe he gets some in with Bennett too. Maybe some dumps that Forte turns into diamonds. Maybe I have no clue what I'm talking about.

I think Bradford turns the corner this year as well. He has the weapons. Idk, I may pick him up. I figure Bradford has the better upside. I pretty much know what cutler will do.

Of the two, Bradford is definitely the one with the upside. But, on a bye, I'm playing it safe with a someone I think is a 16 point play over someone that flubs for 11 points, ya know? They're certainly building around Bradford, so he's worth keeping an eye on if you're interested.

What about this offer to the Brees owner? (Remember, he's the moron.)

Gronk, CJ2k, Eli (just to give him a QB)for Brees

He would have

Eli
CJ
Murray
DMC
Mattews
Megatron
Gronk

I would have

Brees
AP
Deangelo Williams
Wayne
Nicks
Graham
Britt at Flex

Would leave me thin as hell. I'm just not confident CJ2k will do anything this year. That Brees to Graham has me drooling.

I hate negotiating trades with idiots.

I was hoping to trade for Vick as insurance for RG3, but the Vick owners initial offer was Vick for Forte. Wtf??

That leaves him with an early drafted RB on his bench.

CJ2k is running great; they have made obvious improvements to that offensive line. Relying on Britt in the FLEX is not something you want to do if you don't have to.

No, said owner would get him at the 4th rd if he wants to keep him. I love Gronk, but I think

Brees
AP
Graham
Wayne
Nicks would a be a damn strong core. Although, the keeper aspect is nice.

At the surface, I'd say I'm about number 2 or 3 in talent. Luckily, we had a 2 or 3 real stupid guys drafting.

So, I think I will make the playoffs. Feel Brees would put me over the top. I have Deangelo Williams who will start in Carolina. He's not awesome, but he's a starter on a team who might be able to move the ball some.

LOL

I think both are capable of good years, but that's like using wet paper to wipe your arse, and doubling it up hoping it helps.

Wood, take note of this question. I play in nothing but keeper leagues, and this is how I approach every move.

True, I'll hold CJ, his value should be at a high if I still want to trade him after playing the Jets, Chargers, and KC in week 6.

I'm playing that guy week 1, too. Maybe offer week 2.

Yeah, having Gronk and Harvin at a discount would be huge for the future.

Next year, I won't jack up the QB spot.

Well I mainly want Vick for week 1-2 in case RG3 doesn't play. Vick is playing week 1.

Exactly. You roll with Gronk this year (FLEX him if he comes back strong), you lose a mid round pick next year and don't have to worry about drafting a TE, all while you have one of the top 2. shite, you could treat Percy as your #3 next year. Always think like that. The guys that try to blow their load for one year always seem to frick up early in the playoffs, if they make it, and then they're in rebuilding mode trying to catch up with everyone else. I play to make the playoffs, and let my team handle it from there. If I get beat, I get beat; I'll have the same chance next year.
