14-Team PPR

Someone dropped Jimmy Graham for his bye week so I couldn't help but pick him up since I lost Olsen and have been streaming TEs. Now I need a defense. Keep in mind I can only start 2 RBs as the flex is only for WR/TE.

I've been leaning on dropping Bryant since he's done nothing, Big Ben sucks, and he's supposed to have his snaps reduced with Eli Rogers returning. WRs are much easier to come by in FA as well. My next choices were AP and Mariota.

Who would you drop?

Starters:
QB: Carson Wentz
RB: Doug Martin
RB: Kareem Hunt
WR: Jordy Nelson
WR: Emmanuel Sanders
TE: Jared Cook
WR/TE: Will Fuller

Bench:
LeSean McCoy (Bye)
Marcus Mariota
Duke Johnson, Jr.
Adrian Peterson
Martavis Bryant
Jimmy Graham (Bye)
Greg Olsen (IR)

Only thing that sucks about dropping Mariota is that if Wentz would get injured I'd have to stream scrub QBs the rest of the season.

Yes, so why are you even contemplating holding onto an aging AP? Do you actually see him playing amongst your backs of Hunt, McCoy and dougie? Simple shite

EDIT - AND fricking Duke. This is a clown question bro

If wentz gets hurt you make a trade for a better QB than the waiver scrubs

Both of those players are far more valuable on his roster than replacing them with a defense. He could use them for a good trade. Dropping good players just because you have good starters is simply stupid shite. Your answer sucks and you know nothing about fantasy football

No,i I just suck at reading. I read the first sentence and thought he was asking about who he needed to drop to add Jimmy. You're right.

I mean, that's pretty much the question. Except he dropped his defense to pick him up while he takes time to make his decision so someone else doesn't grab him.

To OP, I've done this the past couple of weeks (picked up a player that someone else dropped because of bye weeks) and since I couldn't come up with another guy to drop, I targeted a FA Defense that I'd be ok with in the 430/830/Monday games and a player that I could drop from those games as well. Then I watched my match-up closely to determine whether I needed to take action (pick up the defense).
That is obviously a dangerous strategy, and your lineup and your opponents lineup have to be such that at the end of the noon games you have an idea how the match-up will go.

In your case, Mariota seems like the odd man out if you can't do the above.
