his floor is pretty much what I said.
Like I said, if his floor is 1400yds and 10TDs, he should be a top 5 pick. 1400 + 10 would have put him right around 6/7 ranked RB last year. With that being his floor, he should be top 5 in your rankings.

Given that Jackson is a hell of alot better than Turner

lulz

Turner was 2nd in the league in rushing his first year in ATL in 2008

Limited to 11 games in 2009 and still averaged 5 ypc for 871 yards and 10 TDs

3rd in 2010

3rd in 2011

He sucked last year but it was his 10th year in the league and the Falcons were 6th in the league in pass attempts. Turner wasnt always a fat plodder.

His YPC > SJax over a career

We can also mention his TD totals

17
10
12
11
10

Quick! Name me the players with more rushing yards and TDs over the last 5 years.......

Anyone expecting SJax to go in and eclipse Turner's numbers is fricking nuts, especially in NON PPR leagues. And even in PPR, SJax had 1 90 catch season 6 years ago. Sure he can catch a little, but he is still carrying the label of some bad arse pass catcher from 6 seasons ago.

Anyway, Jamal Charles is going to be money in Andy Reid's offense if he's healthy. Same goes for Reggie. Top 5 backs in PPR leagues.

I said that's his floor if he plays 15-16 games, which is not something I would bet on for a guy who is 29 years old. Which I why I would put him around 15 or so rather than 7 or 8. Even with that floor, ADP, Foster, Martin, Charles, Spiller, Rice, and Trent would all have more upside than him. And all of those players are younger and have around 180 point floors if healthy themselves.

Totally agree. No idea why people think Turner was some scrub and Sjax is such an improvement

And I was talking about Jackson right now being better than Turner last year, but thanks for posting his career numbers, which have zero to do with Turner getting 10 TDs last year despite being terrible. Which was the point of my post.

Turner was pretty scrubby last year, and still got 10 TDs for the Falcons, is my point. Turner was a shell of his former self last year.

You didn't mention a year, pal.

Turner was a "scrub" but he could always punch it in from the goal line.

SJax has had ample opportunity over the years and has been notorious for getting stuffed. Or else he may have been a better fantasy play.

He'll be up there, but unless you are giving a ton of points per reception in your league he won't be hitting top 5 simply due to lack of TDs.

But Sjax isn't a good goal line back like Turner is so you can't automatically think Sjax will come in and get double digit TDs

We will see. I am hitching my wagon to Reggie in every league Im in. Health is the only thing holding him back.

He's also played behind one of the weakest offenses in the league for the past 5 years or so, and averaged about 1400 yards and 5-6 TDs during the span of time. Pretty easy to see him gaining an extra two hundred yards or so and 4-5 TDs moving from one of the worst offenses in football to the best. I think he's a pretty solid bet to be a 200 point back if he gets 15-16 games in, which is risky due to his age. He could wind up dropping off a cliff due to age just like Turner did as well.

Turner was a beast from 2008-2011, definitely wouldn't be calling him a scrub back then.

True, I could be overstating his TD floor a bit, but even if he only gets 8 TDs he should be right around 200 points in a standard scoring league, which would put him in the top 20 players.

With that much of a PPR boost I could possibly see it, but even then he would have to go nuts this year. I'm pretty high on him myself this year, but not quite that high. I see Stafford benefiting a ton from them getting Bush.

Are you including receiving yards in the mix? Because he hasn't broken 1,250 rush yards in 4 years

Yeah, I've been saying total yards this entire time, not rushing yards. I mean, total yards is what matters after all.

When I was talking about his floor being 1400 yards I meant like around 1100 rushing yards and 300 receiving yards.

Yea, for some reason this whole time I have thought you meant just rushing yards

TD floor is still a little high IMO, but yardage is about right. I'd say 1300 floor for rush/receiving.
