I wish the A's would just announce their 5th starter.

Lou wants it to be Parker.

Parker is the better prospect if he can ever figure out his control issues, but Peacock was very good in the minors. Doubt I'll end up holding on to either even if they make the roster, but I wanted to take a chance on a SP late. They were the only prospects left with a chance to actually make an impact this year.

Yea seems Parker might be a bust
I don't even know anything about Peacock. What's his deal?

Almost 150 IP
2.39 ERA
Sub 1 WHIP
10.9 K/9
He threw a little bit in the majors last year and fared well. He's gained a couple MPH on this FB the last couple years and has a nice knuckle-curve. Doesn't have much of a #3 pitch yet which could be big trouble
ETA: Hultzen was the guy I was looking for and I didn't even notice he had already gotten drafted. Parker was the only other guy I had in mind, and I nabbed Peacock in the last incase Parker didn't break the roster. Turns out neither may...

Oakland doesn't need a 5th starter for another 2-3 weeks.
That's why both are in the minors getting some work.

Dis KC/LAA game is good each team with 3 spring dings with LAA going back to back to back...bourjos takes one between the numbers and Mike S is pissed

dude I wish...I love to play
the only fields we have access to around here are little league fields and if we hit the ball over it's an out.....but its fun when the LIRR goes by and people throw money down to see if the batter can hit the train, won 40 bucks one night

Hosmer
JHey
If Trout can make it up after Wells flops I might have something this year.
