Traded R.Romero and Mike Trout 22nd round pick
Received T. Lincecum and N. Markakis 8th round pick

10 team H2H 5 keeper league, none of these players would be keepers on my team.

Now have Kershaw, Halladay and Timmy... also wasn't playing Trout.

I think dude really wanted Trout!

i wouldnt trade for Lincecum.

Romero is better. Trout is an exceptional prospect. Im not sure how many keepers you keep. Angels are talking about trading Bourjos.

Lincecum is a cumsack

Only thing you won was the pick swap

Romero is luckier. .218 baBIP and 4.18 FIP

Lincecum has a .349 baBIP against him... that is extremely unlucky. His FIP is 3.06

Timmy is better and is projected to throw more ks and get as many wins...

also, it is 5 keepers as stated in OP

Well, that is like, your opinion, Man!

Seriously, what makes you come to this conclusion?

lol

they're the same age

Lincecum pitches in the NL West, Romero the AL East

Lincecum strikes out more - they walk pretty much the same amount

they win the same amount of games

Lincecum gives up less HRs (Romero has given up 1 HR in each of his last 3 starts, btw)

lincecum is not the same pitcher. He hasn't quite figured out to pitch with his diminishing velocity. His confidence is down. Id rather Romero. He's steady. Not as reliant on a diminshing fastball

Wasn't he hitting 94 on the gun in his last start ? The highest for him on the year.

Apparently he already did. Never got the point of posting a trade evaluation after the fact. Guess he wants pats on the back.

Timmy's not throwing the slider much this year either. Hiding an arm/elbow injury?

Correct.

Plus, we're talking about fantasy baseball here, not who you would want on your team IRL going forward. Lincecum will give you more Ks, a lower whip, less walks and the same amount of wins. Romero has the lower ERA now.. one category. By the end of the season we'll see.

Hitting 94 doesn't equal "throwing" 94

More than likely not

Could be he's babying his elbow, sure. Could also be that the absence of Brian Wilson is affecting him, as he was a good influence on Tim as far as throwing his slider effectively. But he didn't throw it in ST either so that's probably not it.

First couple weeks of the season I thought the drop in velocity was due to a hip injury he was hiding, but he's gotten his fastball back to 93 so he probably just needed to get his arm stretched out.
