I have Kelce and Clay as TEs. I don't really play Clay as Kelce has been productive enough for me. I need WR help. I have Evans, D Thomas, Snead, Kearse and Travis Benjamin. I'm thinking of trading for Clay for Baldwin. He has Crabtree, K Benjamin, D Bryant, Watkins. His TE is Cook.
Should I offer the trade? Or should I just go on WW and get Tyrell Williams, Paul Richardson, Tyler Lockett, Hurns or Robert Woods?
If I trade Clay I can pick up Evan Engram on WW for back up TE.

I doubt he'd do Baldwin for Clay

First off, you listed his WRs and didn't include Baldwin, but said you were planning to trade for Baldwin...so does he have Baldwin?

Second, unless he's a complete idiot, there's no chance he trades you Doug Baldwin for Charles Clay. Baldwin is a top 15 WR and TEs like Charles Clay are a dime a dozen.

Third, who cares about your backup TE. You're rolling with Kelce every week, so if you want to roster a backup because of the bye, I guess that's ok, but don't overthink it.

The bottom line is that, unless their name is Rob Gronkowski, TEs have very very little trade value. You're talking about trading a TE for a WR1...it's just not gonna happen.

ETA: I mean, yes you should try that trade. Just don't expect him to accept it.

He has Baldwin I'm sorry I forgot to include that in the post. He picked up Baldwin after 1st week bc the person who drafted him dropped him to pick up Kupp. He never plays Baldwin either. He has played Crabtree, Benjamin and Dez since he picked be up Baldwin.

Someone dropped Doug Baldwin for Cooper Kupp? Wow. I mean, yea man, go for it. Hopefully for your sake he'll do that trade.

Yes someone actually dropped Baldwin for Kupp after week 1. I tried to pick him up but since I had highest scoring team I was last on WW.

Seems like you shouldn't need much help to win that league

Currently I'm in 1st. Freeman is on bye. I have Zeke but with possible suspension I need to have better receivers. D.Thomas is having a bad start. Evans is up and down with Winston ( my QB along with Wentz). Snead is on bye. I'm relying on Kearse, Blount and Duke Johnson for this week. If he is not playing Baldwin and Clay a better TE for him than Cook, I think it is good trade for both of us.

If you can make that trade, good for you. But in no way, shape, or form is that a good trade for the other guy. He can sell Baldwin for a lot more than Clay.
