PayPal put a hold on my account when they found out I was taking money for the bracket

My account should be active by tomorrow per the discussion I had with Brian from PayPal today.

I don't appreciate you making me look like I'm not paying you. I don't need a pat on the back, but I go through a lot of shite to organize and collect money from 50+ people. You think collecting from 16 people in a td league is hard? Sheeeeeit.

Thats not really hard fwiw. And besides, thats like ALL you have to do for that thing. No controversies, no illegal lineups, no add/drop issues, no guys wanting to switch out a pick because someone got hurt...

It has nothing to do with me or my back (although something as easy as keeping up with trades in a fantasy league is harder than what giraffe is doing). It has more to do with it being easy as frick to run a NCAA bracket pool.

I've done one just as big, and without the help of Yahoo to keep track. All that shite was done by hand. It's nothing at all.

did you have to collect money from people in 8 different states and 1 foreign country?

probably not.

Gyno got 15 people to create paypal accounts to send payments. Id say that is pretty good. A few weren't as easy.

Not as many people are hooked into the digital age as you think. He can't just drive to Hattiesburg or Atlanta or Kansas City and collect some people's money.

TDFL this year was a bitch at first because of the new members and the rule changes, scoring format that required me updating matchups each week, ect. Should be easier this year.

No, but I had to collect from people in person, which is harder.

Did Gyno have to create each paypal account for these guys? I don't think so. Again, big deal.

which makes it even harder. You can tell someone to create an account, you can tell someone to mail you a check, and it only gets done if they do it. Some put it off, some get disinterested in the tournament after their team gets knocked out, some say "ehh its only $20", some just forget.

thankfully it was easier than last year and he hustled and got over 90% of the money before the tournament even started.

Half the bracket didn't pay when they entered. If I kick them out, you are looking at 20-25 people and a shitty payout.

The appeal to me and a lot of other entries was the large payout. That's what I advertise it as. If enough people aren't joined, some people will join and then just leave if they see 15 people in there.
