It's a Keeper league and so far my keepers for sure will be Mookie and Ozzie. Looking for the third keeper. The trade is , I'm giving up Yelich for Austin Meadows and Jack Flahrety. It is an auction draft and I put too much in to Yelich to think about keeping him. I think both Meadows and Flahrety could turn in to cheap keepers. What are you guys thoughts on this?

That doesn't make sense. The money is spent and you spent it on a young, top OF who you can now keep... I'm guessing forever or until you decide he isn't worth keeping.

There's nothing he's done this year to view him as a bad return on investment so I'm not sure why you'd trade him for two guys with a month of baseball under their belt. Especially when you can only keep one of them.

Yea, it is an auction draft so each keeper goes up in price by $5 each year you keep them for a max of 5 years.

Just saw this in the other thread. Details matter.

If you can wait to pull the trigger do that. I'm not selling Yelich based on 60 Meadows AB. I think Flaherty will be a decent SP2/3.

Agreed. First couple of times posting and still working out the kinks, didn't think to add that info until asked. Thanks for the input.

EDIT: For reference Yelich was drafted for $25 so it would be $30 to keep him next year. Meadows and Flahrety were both picked up as free agents so they would be $1 keepers.

Keep yelich and just add the next Meadows and flaherty that come up. Those guys aren’t that special. Don’t pay someone to do the work for you as far as finding cheap players.

Betts and yelich are a nice set. It allows you to go in any direction during a draft bc they check every box

Agree with Gyno. Those guys need to show more to be prioritized as a $1 keeper, IMO.
