He is with by far the 4 weakest players and put me with the 4 strongest players. He and I finished 1 and 2 last year. I'm with 3rd - 6th place finishers, he's with the bottom half.

Pure coincidence? Can he even choose who is in which division within the league?

WTF is the point of having divisions if Fantasy Football?

Yes, you have the option to change this.

This. Never been a fan. It's another element of randomness that is seemingly not needed.

Commissioner can control it. It makes no sense to switch divisions each year though. You should either get rid of divisions completely or keep them, but don't change which team is in which division yearly.

If he waited until after the draft and then changed who is in each division, I think that's really sketchy. I'd advise getting the teams in your division to all go to him together and tell him that you think that's unfair.

It will backfire on him. Fantasy is different every single season.

We switch every year. We go 4 divisions of 3. So the team's that finish 1st - 4th the previous year draft what guys they want in their division. It opens it up to a shite ton of smack talk during the divisional draft we hold the 1st weekend of Aug every year

i like that. In two of my leagues we do divisions. One is set by which building we work in. The another league I'm in is decided by the 6 most northern people and the 6 most southern people

That's actually a pretty interesting idea.

I hated it when my Commish offered up a 4 3-team division format so we could have a balanced schedule in one of my leagues.

3 years ago, a guy finished 5-8, won his division and got into the playoffs over several 7-6 and 8-5 teams.

The guys wanted it because they know they increase their chances of making the playoffs in that format. Random draw, and there were always 2 strong divisions and 2 weak divisions.

This year, we lost 2 teams and are a 10-team league with 2 5-team divisions.

I don't know that one season defines one as a weak player or a strong player. What separates your elite fantasy guys from the others is consistently making the playoffs. We talking 75% of the time or more. Across various leagues. Snake and auction. Etc.

Just make sure you don't make the same mistake we made our 1st year doing it..Do Not snake draft your divisions or the team that finished 1st and picks first also gets the last player left (normally the strongest competitor)..

Divisions suck. You may have a 7 win team make it and an 8 win team not make it
